Off Season Fishing Membership

As the name suggests, Salmon Creek is one of the premier locations for fishing all types of Lake Ontario species, especially salmon. The club provides a limited number (35) of off season fishing memberships, allowing dedicated fisherman to engage in this ultimate fresh water fishing experience from land. The fishing membership period is September 24th through May 19.

Unlike many Lake Ontario tributaries that are packed shoulder to shoulder with fishermen during spring and fall salmon runs, the private access the club affords ensures a relaxed environment to fish without pressure and overcrowding. Salmon creek provides direct Lake access to freshly spawning Salmon, Steelhead, Brown and Rainbow Trout as well as Perch, Pike, Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass. Children under the age of 16 can come and fish with you without a membership or guest pass required. Onsite restroom facilities are provided for fisherman use during the winter months. Fisherman are expected to abide by club Fishing Membership bylaws and good sportsmanlike conduct.

The fee for the season is $150. The club elects a Fishing Representative that attends PMC board meetings, manages applications, enforces membership bylaws and interfaces with the NYS DEC.  The Pultneyville Mariners Club is highly responsive, supporting environmental conservation and participates in the DEC Division of Fish, wildlife and Marine Resource stocking program for Lake Ontario. Our property is used to stock approximately 21,000 brown trout each year.

See our Membership Application page for dues, fees and member responsibilities.
