A message from our Commodore
We are the sail, paddle and beach club located in historic Pultneyville, a hamlet located in the town of Williamson, NY on the south shore of Lake Ontario. The club is a membership-driven non-profit organization, run by a Board of current members. New members get to learn more about who we are through conversations on the beach, social events, and a rotation of roles around the club. If you are new to sailing, we have members with a wealth of experience who are ready to share their experience and knowledge.
During 2020, we constructed a new pavilion providing a large covered seating area, an enclosed food prep area and great lake views. Planned after the high lake waters of 2019 and constructed during the pandemic, this pavilion is built five feet higher than the old pavilion and is part of a re-contouring of the grounds which includes a raised boat launch and berms along Salmon Creek. It was made possible by the volunteer efforts of club members and the generous donations of current and past members along with the Cornwall Trust.
Enjoy a Friday afternoon happy hour or get into sailing with our Sunday afternoon racing. We have a friendly competition running between Sunfish and Laser fleets but are open to any dinghy you can launch from our beach.
We have members from Rochester to Sodus, from Pultneyville to Honeoye Falls, Williamson, Henrietta and places in between. Take a look through the PMI website and reach out using our contact form below. Be sure to check out our Application for membership information details, and we are happy to provide additional information and tours upon request. We look forward to welcoming you at the beach!
